Payal Soni joined the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) as a graduate analyst after first completing a three-month internship with us. Three years on, she is now a Senior Analyst in our Decarbonisation division, helping to shape emerging regulatory frameworks that support Ireland’s energy future. What stands out most to Payal is the culture at CRU - people are approachable, supportive and share a strong sense of purpose. For Payal, being able to contribute to decisions that matter for Irish society is a big part of what makes her role at CRU meaningful - and a reminder of the important role our people play in shaping Ireland’s energy future.
