The Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) has published the third update on the implementation of the National Energy Demand Strategy (NEDS). NEDS is focused on improving how and when we use energy across Ireland - supporting a more sustainable, secure and cost-effective system through greater demand flexibility. This latest update outlines progress to date, key developments, and emerging challenges as the strategy moves into a more advanced phase of implementation. It also highlights continued progress across priority areas including energy, enterprise, environment, spatial planning, and regulation.
