UPDATED: World renowned arbitration practitioner Gary Born, who has left WilmerHale for King & Spalding, tells CDR what his team's focus, objectives and goals will be as he begins a new era in his distinguished career. Following King & Spalding’s hire of a prominent five-partner disputes team from WilmerHale, including Born, a source close to the situation tells CDR that WilmerHale has chosen John Trenor to succeed Born as chair of its international arbitration practice. An email seen by CDR also reveals WilmerHale’s response to the exits. In addition, CDR understands three other disputes lawyers from WilmerHale in London are set to jump ship to King & Spalding, comprising partners Steven Finizio, Jonathan Lim and Charles Caher.
