“Today, the person who has been coding for 6 weeks can do what it used to take someone 5 years to learn how to do." That's according to Assistant Professor Mattan Griffel, who talked with us during the AI Startup Challenge presented by the AI in Business Initiative at Columbia Business School. The Challenge tasked 13 teams from top schools in the AI space, including Columbia University, Cornell Tech, and Yale University, with pitching their best startup idea to a panel of expert judges. "The best way to see what's going to happen in two to three years, before anyone else," Griffel added, "is to be at the edge of what's currently possible today."
