Armed service members at Robins Air Force Base participated in joint training using Collins Aerospace’s Air Traffic Navigation, Integration and Coordination System (ATNAVICS), a battlefield-tested system that provides air traffic services for rapid deployment in remote locations. Used across multiple military services, the system enables interoperable operations and supports mission readiness. The training focused on deploying and operating the system in real-world conditions, including setup of radar, operations shelter, and lighting systems used to establish runways in austere environments.
