Congratulations to Commonwealth Bank on winning the Collier Creative Award for Best ESG and Sustainability Reporting by an Australasian Company at the 2026 Australasian Investor Relations Association (AIRA) Best Practice Investor Relations Awards. It was a privilege to attend the AIRA Conference and Awards this month and see the calibre of investor communications being produced across the Australasian market. There were 3 standout takeaways from the conference on this front: 1. ESG and climate reporting is moving from good practice to mandatory. As Australia's climate disclosure requirements roll out, organisations face growing expectations around transparency, governance and stakeholder communication. They need to move beyond compliance language and clearly articulate their risk, strategy and goals, so stakeholders feel informed and assured, not confused. 2. AI is changing how reporting gets scrutinised. As investors and analysts increasingly use AI to interpret corporate information, sustainability claims and disclosures need to be clear, evidence-based and free from ambiguity. 3. Progress matters more than perfection. No organisation gets ESG reporting right on day one. The organisations that treat it as an ongoing process: reviewing performance, seeking feedback and improving each year, will be best placed to navigate this evolving landscape. Awards such as these recognise organisations that are setting the benchmark for clear, credible and meaningful reporting. At Collier Creative, we're proud to support organisations in navigating ESG reporting, annual reporting and investor communications, helping transform complex information and data into communications that build confidence and trust. Congratulations again to the Commonwealth Bank team on a well-deserved achievement. #AIRA2026 #InvestorRelations #ESGReporting #SustainabilityReporting #ClimateReporting #AnnualReports #CorporateReporting
