It was a pleasure to welcome Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson MLA and Minister Sabine Winton MLA to Collgar Wind Farm last week. The visit included a tour of Collgar Wind Farm and the proposed Tandegin Wind Farm site and also provided a valuable opportunity to highlight the important role the Wheatbelt continues to play in WA’s renewable energy transition. Merredin is a key renewable energy region, with established wind generation, new projects in development, and emerging battery storage infrastructure all contributing to a reliable, cleaner energy system, whilst also delivering benefits for local communities. Thank you to the Ministers and their teams for taking the time to visit.
