Talk to strangers

Every entrepreneur has their “lemonade stand” story. But mine didn’t happen on the side of the road. It happened on Cool Math Games. In elementary school, I’d rush through lessons (or skip them) just to get back to this game and figure out how to make more money than the week before. Through trial and error, I learned that lowering prices drove sales but cut margins, ice melts, lemons spoil, and sometimes, no strategy could save a rainy day. This simulation allowed me to experiment more, take more risks, and learn faster than I could with a real stand. Still, what began as a “cool math game” turned into many real-life pursuits: testing ideas, iterating, and realizing that failure is just part of the data needed to succeed. It showed me that games could be more than mindless distractions, but training grounds for real-world creativity, connection, and problem-solving. And just like that game sparked something in me, I want the games I build, starting with Guess The Singer, to ignite something in others: new ideas, new friendships, and maybe even plant the seeds for someone else's story. Because what seems like play today can unlock a lifetime of possibility. I’m curious — what’s your lemonade stand story? #Entrepreneurship #Creativity #Innovation #GameDesign
