As Colas Safety Week 2026 comes to a close, we are proud to share it was one of our most engaging yet! This week, teams across Colas USA came together around one shared purpose: protecting one another. The meaningful conversations and active participation across our organization showed what’s possible when safety is a priority for everyone. Throughout the week, we focused on three essential pillars of a strong safety culture: • Understanding your role — recognizing that every individual plays a critical part in keeping themselves and others safe by planning ahead and staying accountable. • Supporting mental well-being — reinforcing that safety goes beyond the jobsite, and being prepared to support one another makes our teams stronger. • Staying safe at work — taking the time to plan, identify risks, and ensure the right tools and communication are in place before any task begins. Together, these messages brought this year’s theme of Work Preparation to life and reinforced a simple but powerful truth: Safety doesn’t happen by chance—it starts before the work begins. As we move forward, let’s carry this mindset with us, continuing to prepare, speak up, and look out for one another every day.
