This week is Safety Week at Colas, and we're sharing tips from our toolkit to keep you safe at work, on the road, and in everyday life. A central theme for this safety week is "line of fire". A line of fire happens whenever you put yourself in the path of a moving vehicle, piece of equipment, or moving object. At work, this means staying out of danger zones, making eye contact with equipment operators before crossing their path, and ensuring equipment is parked, shut down, and locked out before approaching. In your day-to-day life, this means: ✅ Never standing behind a reversing vehicle ✅ Taking a break and making sure you're aware of your surroundings ✅ Making eye contact with drivers before crossing roads or parking lots ✅ Always keeping a safe distance from moving vehicles Safety doesn't end when the workday does. Together, we can work together to keep everyone safe - at work, at home, and in our communities. #Colas #ColasCanada #SafetyWeek #ConstructionSafety #RoadSafety #WeConnectCanada
