It's Friday, ready for your whiskey and tea? She built a billion-dollar legacy. And still, the system got inside the walls. Meet Fawn Weaver - the co-founder and 🧱 co-layer building brick by brick. She didn't just build a revenue stream or a business, but a brand — she built a vision of aspiration for every woman who wants to be the Baddie multi-hyphenate. Her company offering Uncle Nearest, Inc. became the top-selling African American-founded spirit in U.S. history. She unearthed the story of one man: Nathan “Uncle Nearest” Green. He was born into slavery in Maryland in 1820 and later moved to Lynchburg, Tennessee. He was a skilled fiddle player, a natural-born entertainer and a damn good whiskey distiller. He would build himselft into becoming a master distiller where his protege would steal his work, craft and fame. Then, in August of 2025, a federal judge placed Uncle Nearest under receivership after it defaulted on more than $108 million in loans. Gaps, choke holds and one man became the destructive implosion that ripped it all away from her - much of it preventable. I break it all down and my discovery, insights and solutions here in edition 5 of The Spec Sheet. --- #thebaddiestack #finances #automation  #BlackOwnedBusiness #founder
