This week, we spent an inspiring day at the African American Museum in Philadelphia experiencing the Ruth E. Carter: Afrofuturism in Costume Design exhibition and hosting a special edition Innovation Sprint! Our students didn’t just visit the museum, they reimagined their futures and took their first steps toward entrepreneurship. By working together to create their first tech businesses, they developed ideas rooted in identity, community, and possibility. We were blown away by the creativity, determination, and problem-solving skills displayed by all of the innovators. A special shout out to our winners: 1 - My Family Tree: a living repository to preserve ancestors, memories, and family stories 2 - EQN (Equal Nourishment for All): an app connecting families to affordable, healthy food in their neighborhoods 3 - Arbett: an AI job assistant designed to support students navigating their career paths Huge thank you to AAMP for creating space for our students to experience art, culture, and innovation side by side. 🚀
