🧬 BIOLOGY VS. ENGINEERING — AN ENGINEER LOOKS AT THE HUMAN BODY AND SEES A PROTOTYPE 🤖 3.8 billion years of R&D. Self-healing. 20 watts of power consumption. 600 muscles coordinated in real time. The human body is technically the most impressive system ever built. And the engineer thinks: „Okay. How do we replicate that?" That's exactly what's happening right now with humanoid robotics. Tesla Optimus, Figure 02, Unitree H1 — they all start with the same spec sheet: human form, human environment, human tasks. The logic is brutally simple: our factories, warehouses and care facilities have been built for a biped with two arms for centuries. If you want to automate there, you need exactly that geometry. And here's where every honest engineer has to admit the gap: we're still far from the original. Current humanoids consume multiples of human energy — for a fraction of the movement flexibility. Evolution left no compiler errors. We did. But that's precisely the joke — and the drive. The human body isn't the finish line. It's the best benchmark we've ever had.
