Over 1 lakh people gathered to listen to a sitar. Not for entertainment. For healing. That alone tells us something important about where wellness is headed. Rishab Rikhiram Sharma, the youngest disciple of Pandit Ravi Shankar, started "Sitar for Mental Health" after openly sharing his own journey with anxiety during the pandemic. Today, his music has reached audiences far beyond India. He has performed at prestigious venues around the world, including the White House and New York, while taking Indian classical music to a global audience. As part of Škoda Auto 25-year celebration in India, the company partnered with Rishab Rikhiram Sharma for a campaign that paired the precision of the Octavia RS with the timeless sound of the sitar. His concerts are unlike anything we're used to. There are no flashing lights or dance numbers. Instead, people gather for: • Indian classical ragas • Guided breathing • Meditation • Silence • Storytelling • Mindful reflection Many simply close their eyes. Some even lie down. The performance becomes a space to pause, breathe, and reconnect. And the response has been extraordinary. -10-city India tour -More than 1 lakh attendees -Multiple sold-out shows -A movement that's now reaching audiences across the world Whether through music, art, movement, or nature, one thing is becoming increasingly clear: People aren't just investing in looking better. They're investing in feeling better. For years, wellness was associated with: • Fitness• Nutrition• Yoga• Spa treatments Today, it has expanded to include emotional well-being. Music, Art, Dance, Journaling, Breathwork, Nature. Creativity itself is becoming therapy. Inspired by this shift, we've recently introduced Music Therapy at Le Miroir Spa & Salon. The response has been encouraging. The future of wellness isn't just caring for the body. It's creating experiences that nurture the mind and emotions. What do you think is the future of wellness?
