💡European innovation needs a common language for technology transfer. Europe's innovation ecosystem is rich and diverse: each country, each institution has built a valuable expertise in technology transfer. Today, we have the opportunity to connect these strengths even further and accelerate collaboration in order to amplify the impact of publicly funded research and reinforce Europe's competitiveness. At CNRS Innovation, we believe it's time to capitalize on this diversity. Our ambition is clear: to help build a more harmonised approach to technology transfer by developing a shared European framework - one that combines common standards with the unique strengths of each local innovation ecosystem. 🤝 This is why we are strengthening our collaboration with our European partners: CSIC Innovación (Spain), Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (Italy), Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft / Helmholtz Association, Leibniz Association and Max-Planck-Innovation GmbH (Germany). Together, we are working to: ✅ Harmonise technology transfer practices to accelerate research impact. ✅ Share and scale best practices across our organisations. ✅ Lay the foundations for a European standard that supports faster, more effective innovation—and, ultimately, could inspire global best practice. These priorities were at the core of our discussions during the G6 meeting in Munich. This is not only a matter of technological sovereignty. It is also about confidence: confidence in Europe's ability to work together in pursuit of a shared strategic interest. 🙏 Many thanks to all participants for their valuable contributions: Jean-Stéphane Dhersin, Mehdi GMAR, Christoph Hüls, PhD, Bram Wijlands, Mareike Goeritz, Manuel Tröster, Dr. Florian Kirschenhofer, Andreas Bergner, Annette Janz, Ana Castro, Jesús Martínez de la Fuente, Hans Sawade, Christine Wennrich, Antonio Cusmà and Laura Cavallarin, #Innovation #TechnologyTransfer #Europe
