🔬 Nanotechnology at the frontline of infectious disease research At the 3rd Fondazione INF-ACT Annual Meeting in Rome, CNR-NANO Istituto nanoscienze del Cnr joined a national community working together to tackle emerging infectious diseases through a One Health approach. Our researchers from Modena and Pisa presented five contributions, showcasing how nanotechnology can support rapid diagnostics and new therapeutic strategies — from nanoparticle-based lab-on-chip systems for West Nile Virus detection to phosphorene-based approaches against antibiotic-resistant bacteria. A valuable opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and advance nano-enabled solutions for global health challenges.
