Sophomore Aiden Jin recently shared how early research opportunities have already shaped his undergraduate experience. His work included gaining hands on experience with equipment in the CMU Materials Characterization Facility, as he explored SEM imaging, UV-Vis and Raman spectroscopy, photoelectrochemical measurements, and early-stage neuron plating and photostimulation tests.
