Invasive fungal infections and antifungal resistance are becoming increasingly important public health challenges in India. To support discussion and action in this area, Foundation for Neglected Disease Research, University of Aberdeen, UK, and Brigid Bio, UK are organising a one-day, in-person International Conference on Fungal Diseases & AMR in Bengaluru India, with funding support from the FAILSAFE Project , UK that is run by the Medical Research Council Centre for Medical Mycology (MRC CMM) at the University of Exeter in partnership with the Department of Health and Social Care Global AMR Innovation Fund (GAMRIF). Date: 23 July 2026 Venue: Hotel Shangri-La, Bengaluru The conference will bring together experts, clinicians, researchers, government representatives, and industry colleagues to discuss the clinical reality facing Indian patients, advances in antifungal drugs and diagnostics, and the practical steps needed to translate innovation into patient benefit.
