Users who adopt one can message your business without revealing their phone number. Instead, you get a Business-Scoped User ID (BSUID): a stable, unique ID Meta generates per user per business. For most flows, nothing changes. Outbound messages to known numbers, authentication templates, existing customer relationships: all unaffected. But new contacts arriving via username? Phone number won't be there. If your systems don't recognize BSUID, those conversations fall through. One thing to do now: make sure your CRM stores BSUID alongside phone number, and that your matching logic checks both. That's it. Full breakdown in the first comment 👇 #WhatsApp #BusinessMessaging
