The smarter E Europe 2026 once again demonstrated the momentum behind the energy transition. With more than 100,000 visitors and around 2,800 exhibitors at Messe Muenchen, it was clear that energy storage has become one of the defining topics shaping the future of our energy system. For us, one takeaway stood out. Compared to last year, there seemed to be fewer exhibitors focused on battery technologies beyond lithium. At the same time, many visitors came to our booth specifically looking for CMBLU Energy. It was great to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new ones and continue conversations around our SolidFlow technology and the role of long-duration energy storage. Some of the week's highlights included: 🔹Presenting the UniBlu project together with Uniper and discussing the role of long-duration energy storage in future energy systems. 🔹Welcoming Florian von Brunn, Chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the Bavarian State Parliament, to our booth to discuss how SolidFlow technology can contribute to a more reliable and resilient grid. 🔹Hosting Prof. Dr. Holger Hesse and students from Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften Kempten (University of Applied Sciences) as part of The smarter E's Study Program. 🔹 Seeing Dr. Jan PROCHNOW, EVP Product at CMBLU, present Beyond Lithium: Rethinking Energy Storage for a Post-Intermittent Grid at the ees Innovation Hub. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, and to our entire team whose dedication made these three days such a success. #TheSmarterEEurope #SolidFlow #EnergyStorage #Event #Munich
