AI data centers are pushing grid capacity to its limit. Storage technology can help. A recent ICF report found the US grid has just 3% spare capacity left (link in comments). At the same time, electricity demand keeps climbing – driven by electrification and especially AI data centers. The US demand for electricity is projected to grow 21% by 2030.
