Sad news for the financial world.   Nobel Prize Harry Markowitz, father of the Modern Portfolio Theory, reached his efficient frontier at 95 years old.   MPT is a framework for investing that considers the relationship between risk and reward, and the benefits of diversification. It has become a standard tool for money management and financial planning, very well known by students in Finance.   His contribution to finance shall remain with us for years to come.   RIP.
