Yesterday we inaugurated our Climeworks DAC Innovation Center in Zurich – the world’s largest and most advanced hub for next generation direct air capture research and testing. Built on more than a decade of experience, this center accelerates scaleup and cost reduction through real world testing and rapid iteration. Every layer of our technology is challenged and refined here: from sorbents and energy systems to system design, durability, and performance. By bringing over 50 engineers, chemists, and technology specialists together under one roof, we’re tackling the sector’s biggest challenge: reducing the cost of carbon removal. This integrated approach shortens innovation cycles and speeds the path from lab breakthroughs to largescale deployment.
