The other half of emissions no one is talking about 🔎 Most companies on the path to net zero have already made significant strides by committing to reduce their emissions by up to 90%, in alignment with industry best practices. According to the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi), the remaining emissions will need to be neutralized by carbon sequestration by 2050 at the latest.     However, there is a critical aspect often overlooked: cumulative emissions. While working toward net zero, the emissions your company releases annually do not simply disappear – they accumulate in the atmosphere over time.     This is the other half of emissions no one is talking about, and addressing it is essential for truly sustainable climate action.
