Clemson University's College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences has received a $500,000 grant from The Kern Family Foundation. The grant supports a three-year project titled “KEEN Accelerate: A Teaching Excellence Framework for Continuous Improvement and Innovation to Strengthen Student Experiences with Entrepreneurially Minded Learning.” The project supports entrepreneurially minded learning across engineering and computing programs. It focuses on helping students build skills such as curiosity, making connections and creating value. The project aims to reach about 7,000 undergraduate students through course updates and faculty training. The project is led by Dr. Karen High and includes faculty across the college. The college's leaders say the award reflects strong work across the college and a commitment to student success.
