Research Assistant at the UCL Dementia Research Centre
Last week I had the opportunity to attend and present my poster at the Alzheimer's Research UK research conference and the Alzheimer's Association® Neuroscience Next conference, 2 conferences focused on research in Dementia and Biomarkers. My poster looked at how mood and wellbeing is measured in people at risk of Genetic Frontotemporal Dementia and how different psychometric tests (such as the WEMBWS test) could be more sensitive than more frequently used ones. I listened to so many interesting talks from leading dementia scientists and got to see some of my colleagues win prizes for their outstanding early career research!! Had a great time and feeling inspired by everyone’s work and the advancements in dementia research we are making!
