This is such a pinch 'us' moment for sure. Today, we are very proud to announce that we have been selected as Ocean Bottle's partner to deliver their full volume of plastic collection for 2026. We have been very fortunate to work with the team for over a year, and now, we’re stepping into a new chapter together, looking forward to creating a huge impact with our deepened partnership. Impact is Ocean Bottle’s bottom line. Our role is to bring trust and transparency to that mission. Every bottle or flask purchased funds the equivalent recovery of 1,000 plastic bottles, in weight. This equates to 11.4 kg [25 lbs]. And for every kilogram of plastic waste that is collected, we have the data to support that, independently verified by TÜV SÜD to ISO 14064-3 and ISO 17029 standards. The verification covers the entire process, starting from waste pickup to the total weight recovered and reported by Ocean Bottle. Our approach is focused on collecting non-recyclable and low-value plastic in vulnerable coastal and river based communities. We focus on this, because it is addressing a critical gap left by traditional recycling models. By doing so, we give plastic waste value, providing local entrepreneurs with an incentive to collect and sort plastic so that as much as possible can be sold for recycling. Whatever cannot be recycled is disposed of safely to prevent it from ending up in open fires or the ocean. A partnership like this with Ocean Bottle is helping build long-term waste management infrastructure, with the goal for that infrastructure to become self-sustaining and profitable.
