After more than 12 years at Amazon, I’m about to begin a new and very meaningful chapter. Starting this Friday, I’ll be taking a full year of parental leave to spend more time with my children while they’re still little. It’s not a common choice, especially for fathers, but it feels like the right moment to slow down, be present, and enjoy this irreplaceable stage of life with them. I’m incredibly thankful for the support I’ve received throughout this decision, especially from my managers (Jon Kirk, Stefan Kaltenberger, Michael Warm) and my colleagues in Business Development (Helene Durst, Moritz Neumann, Peter Zinnen), Marketing (Shannon Stegmann, Volker Schulz, Björn Hesse) and Solutions Architects (Ashutosh Joglekar, Siva Prakash Marappan). Your encouragement, understanding, and openness made this step easier and something I can embrace with confidence. Feel free to stay in touch. I’ll still be around, just at a different pace. 😊
