Bodo and I are infinitely grateful to you, Jorge, for being an exceptional host, for your impeccable coordination, and for the generosity with which you opened the doors of City of Calgary—and of a network you have built over many years through trust, credibility, and genuine human connection. Every meeting had #purpose. Every visit broadened our perspective. And every connection reflected the respect you have earned across the business, academic, innovation, and #entrepreneurial communities in Canada. Yet this recognition goes far beyond a perfectly organized agenda. Your story is that of a man who had a #dream—and the #courage to make it real. Many years ago, you left Colombia, made significant sacrifices, and began again in a new country. Through hard work, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to your vision, you built a family, an admirable professional career, and a lasting legacy in Canada—without ever losing your roots or your commitment to Colombia. After more than three decades of friendship and professional connection, reuniting in Calgary was deeply meaningful for Bodo and me. It confirmed that genuine relationships do not fade with time or distance: they grow stronger and become bridges for new possibilities. What you have achieved is inspiring. What you have built leaves a lasting mark. And what you are now helping connect between Canada, Colombia, and Latin America has the potential to become an even greater legacy.
