Managing Director DACH (GSA) at Whalar I Creator Economy Expert I Speaker
Big news to share: Accenture Song is set to acquire Whalar Agency 🚨 When I joined Whalar in 2019, 'influencer marketing' was still the job title you had to explain twice. Sometimes I refer to 2019 as the “dinosaur years” of influencer marketing. But at Whalar, we all saw something bigger. What started as a one-woman show for Whalar DACH from my living room in Berlin has flourished into something truly BIG. Not just in terms of our own growth, but in the impact we've had on the industry as a whole. Today, Goldman Sachs projects the creator economy to be worth $480 billion by 2027. With that in mind, I'm incredibly proud. Not only of what we've built at Whalar, but of the role we've played in helping shape the creator economy into the powerhouse it is today. Now, with Accenture Song, we have the platform to go again. The next chapter demands even more: more strategic depth, more creativity, more tech capability, more scale, and greater global reach. Together with Accenture Song, we’re in a position to build bigger than ever before. I'm incredibly grateful to my Whalar family and the DACH team for being part of this journey and for everything we've built together. ✨ To my mentor Emma Harman - together, we've built something proudly female-led in Europe, driven by our vision, trust, and a shared belief in what's possible. ✨ To my DACH leadership team - Huong Ngo Thi, Lisa Wickel, Liz Bernatzek, Jonas Niedermueller, Lukas Tarnowski, Lara Della Gaspera, Alina E. - and the whole Whalar DACH crew especially our OGs - Akosua A. and Vanessa Betzel. Special thanks to my assistant Diana Watkins. We’re about to absolutely rock this next chapter. ✨ To my extended Whalar family - Jo Cronk, Olivia Stephens (she/her), Jessica van Wyk, Jessica Womersley, James Mockler, Shannon Watkin, Alex Elton-Allisett, Tim Hyland, Ian Howard, Sophia Kakouratos, Sahid Rahman, Georgie Johnson, Ehi Enaboifo, Eduardo Encarnacion, Naji Esiri, Mac Lbik, Katie Sheridan, Kate Barnham, Elaine Shui, Lizzy Bilasano and Christoph Becker. A few funny moments we’ve shared along the way. I couldn’t resist adding them in. ✨ Neil Waller 🐳 and James Street - I won’t forget the first time we met right after the Whalar Christmas Party in 2018. The Whalar office has never been as quiet again. Look what we’ve built: We liberated the Creative Voice! To our clients and partners - thank you for constantly challenging us to raise the bar. Looking ahead, I want to say a huge thank you to our new partners and colleagues at Accenture Song. We can’t wait to get started.
