๐ถ Game-changer for the music classroom! ๐น This week, I attended a brilliant training day with the Essex Music Hub and discovered a fantastic tool that I just have to share (even if I might be the last person to find out about it! ๐ ). Have you used Chrome Music Lab yet? If you havenโt, it is an incredible, web-based resource that makes music creation completely accessible. Here is why Iโm loving it for the classroom: Completely Free & No Logins: Zero barriers to entry. Students can just open it and start creating instantly. Highly Engaging & Visual: The bright colours and intuitive design make it incredibly fun and simple to use for students. Inclusive for SEN: Its highly visual and interactive nature makes it an absolute winner for engaging students with addition needs (SEN). ๐ก Top Classroom Tips: Direct Bookmarking: A great way to use these experiments is to bookmark individual modules directly onto your classroom iPads or laptops so students can jump straight into a specific activity. Easy Sharing with "Song Maker": In the main sequencer module (Song Maker), students can just click "Save" and it generates a unique URL. You can easily copy that link to save their work for later, or email it home to parents so they can hear exactly what their child created that day! Itโs always inspiring to come away from CPD with practical, actionable tools that can be implemented the very next day. Huge thanks to Essex Music Hub for a great session! ๐ Fellow SEN Teachers - how do you use Chrome Music Lab in your lessons? Drop your favourite experiments in the comments! ๐ #MusicEducation #PrimaryMusic #EdTech #SpecialEducation #SENMusic #EssexMusicHub #MusicTeacher #ChromeMusicLab
