It is incredibly easy to stay buried in the day-to-day busywork. But last week, I was reminded why stepping away is so vital. I had the privilege of spending time with a brilliant group of CLOs and Heads of Talent, hosted by the Shape The Future Consortium. Naturally, our discussions centered around the relentless pace of change, AI (of course) and its massive implications for learning and skills. Yet, I walked away feeling extremely positive (not a surprise to those that know me best). Here are my two biggest takeaways: The Power of L&D: Learning has a critical, unprecedented opportunity to shape the employee experience and equip our people to navigate these shifts. The Burden (and Beauty) of Leadership: How employees experience this transition will be defined by leadership. It’s a responsibility and an incredible opportunity to lean into.
