Announcement: City of Hays Holiday Closures & Service Schedule Changes In observance of the Independence Day holiday, the City of Hays administrative offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026. To allow our team members to celebrate the holiday with their families, there will be a modification to our solid waste schedule: Friday, July 3 Trash Collection ➡️ Will be collected on Thursday, July 2. Please ensure all refuse containers are curbside by 7:00 AM on Thursday. Normal operations and schedules will resume on Monday, July 6.
