Sebastian Kole, the Birmingham-born musician also known as Pynk Beard, just landed an Emmy nomination! His song “The Devil You Know,” featured on Prime Video’s “Spider-Noir,” is up for Outstanding Music & Lyrics. Sebastian grew up in Dolomite as a preacher’s son, sang with the Birmingham Boys Choir, graduated from the University of Alabama, then moved out to LA and spent years writing hits for Alicia Keys, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez, and Alessia Cara before he ever put his own name on a record. He built a whole career as Sebastian Kole with albums like “Soup” and “Numb,” then reinvented himself as Pynk Beard, folding that same soul and gospel foundation into country music.
