Supporting local ideas through Community Grants. We’ve just opened our second round of Community Grants for 2025/26. This is one of those programs we’re really proud to deliver, because we get to see the impact of it play out right across the community. These grants go a long way at a local level. They help community groups get things off the ground, upgrade equipment, or run events that bring people together. That might look like a local club like the legendary Armadale Kelmscott Swimming Club investing in equipment or supporting their programs - practical things that make it easier for people to participate and stay connected. They’re often the kinds of projects that might not happen otherwise, but make a real difference once they do. We usually see a really broad mix of applications - sport, arts, youth, seniors, and everything in between - which is always a good reflection of how active and engaged our community is. It’s also one of the more direct ways people can shape what’s happening locally. Not through a big project or long process, but through something practical that can be delivered fairly quickly. If you’re thinking about applying, you can find more information here: https://buff.ly/JoPfJd2 You can also take a look at previous recipients here: https://buff.ly/vHbFMNE Applications are open until 20 April.
