🎉 Congratulations to Alonso Vidal, a former City Bureau Civic Reporting Fellow, on being named the 2026–27 Tow Journalism Fellow at FRONTLINE PBS from Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism! During his time at City Bureau, Alonso reported on the housing and employment challenges facing young adults on Chicago’s Southwest Side, producing deeply reported, bilingual stories that amplified community voices and shed light on the realities of building a future amid rising housing costs and economic uncertainty.
