Last week, Ying Kai Chan, PhD, CEO and Co-founder, Andrew Dick, MD, Chief Scientific Advisor and Co-Founder, Meihua Ju, Vice President, Translational Research, and Qian Yi Lee, PhD, Senior Scientist, attended the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) Annual Meeting in Denver, where the global eye and vision research community came together to share the latest advances in ophthalmology. As the premier gathering in eye and vision science, ARVO is where the field comes together to exchange new ideas, pressure-test emerging science, and explore the technologies driving ophthalmic therapies forward. “ARVO is one of the few places where you can step back and see the full arc of where vision research is heading,” said Kai. “The science is moving quickly, and it is energizing to be in conversation with colleagues across biopharma, academia, and clinical ophthalmology who are all working toward more precise and effective therapies for patients.” As Cirrus advances its differentiated pipeline in dry AMD and geographic atrophy, participation in meetings like ARVO helps ensure our science remains grounded in the latest research and connected to the broader community working to preserve and restore vision worldwide.
