On Monday 18th May, Executive Coach and Leadership Ambassador Dan Biggar joined colleagues at The Runnymede Hospital in Chertsey to formally open their new MRI scanner. The Siemens Magnetom Sola represents the latest in imaging and diagnostic technology, offering AI-based workflow solutions, providing radiographers with a higher quality image. Following the ribbon cutting, Dan was joined by Chief Medical Officer Peter James, Chief People Officer David Cooper, Chief Operating Officer Owen James and National Finance Director of Operations, Gareth Morris as they shown the new scanner by Clinical Services Manager, Barbara Leahy Higgs and Executive Director, Alex Woods. During his visit, Dan took time to meet staff and doctors to hear about their work supporting patients and the importance of fast access to high-quality imaging and diagnostics. Commenting on the event, Dan Biggar said: “It’s a privilege to join colleagues at Runnymede Hospital for the opening of their new MRI scanner. Throughout my playing career, I saw first-hand the difference access to high-quality imaging can make to player’s recover. The new scanner is going to make an enormous difference to the hospital, allowing us to support over 4,000 more patients alone in just the first year.” Images description: Dan Biggar, joined by Circle Health Group colleagues formally opens the new MRI at The Runnymede Hospital.
