Meet Gabriela — our May Surrogate Spotlight!🩷 Gabriela is a dental hygienist, plant mom to 100+ indoor plants, and adventurous single mom from Tracy, CA. When she's not towing her 24ft travel trailer to the next campsite with her daughter, she's dreaming of one day owning her own nursery. She's one of the incredible surrogates who brings so much heart to our Circle community. Learn more about her story!👇 ✨Q: What inspired you to begin your surrogacy journey? A: "It is very difficult to buy a home nowadays without the help of a partner. As a single mom, even harder when I don't have the extra income to help me get there. I had considered surrogacy several years ago, but didn't have the number one qualification: having given birth before. The subject came across my social media one day, and it reminded me that it was something I wanted to do." ✨Q: What's your favorite surrogacy memory? A: "Seeing how calm baby Sam became when placed on my chest. It was so satisfying to feel his breath ease instantly. Even the sound of his breathing was soothing." ✨Q: What has this journey taught you? A: "I've learned so much through this journey and have come to realize how common it is for some parents to not be able to have kids. How uncommon it is to come across a woman willing to put herself through this. What got to me the most was how many couples are still waiting for the opportunity to become parents. Those are the things people don't talk about." ✨Q: Any advice for someone considering surrogacy? A: "Remind yourself of why you're doing this, you'll get through it."
