🚦Smarter multimodal traffic management is becoming a reality across Europe ⤵️ This week in Brussels, ACUMEN Project and SYNCHROMODE Project celebrated the successful wrap-up of three years of innovation. Both initiatives, funded by #EU #HorizonEU #Transport and managed by CINEA, are helping pave the way for more efficient, resilient multimodal transport systems. 🔹 ACUMEN explored how AI can support traffic management decisions, achieving tangible improvements such as reduced delays, quicker incident detection and better handling of disruptions - while also underlining the importance of understanding AI’s current limits. 🔹 SYNCHROMODE focused on practical solutions, delivering a toolbox already being used and attracting interest for further roll-out, demonstrating strong potential beyond its initial pilots. 🗨️ As highlighted by CINEA Project Adviser Thiago Tavares: “The main goal of these projects is to anticipate the future and test it out… results like these can start shifting mindsets.” 👏 Congratulations to all partners and stakeholders for turning ambition into concrete results and advancing Europe’s multimodal transport landscape!
