CIMB Bank Berhad recently signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with China CITIC Bank Corporation Limited in Beijing to strengthen financial connectivity between China and ASEAN. Through the collaboration, both banks will explore opportunities to support their clients through more seamless cross-border banking and financing solutions to facilitate their business operations and expansion across the China–ASEAN corridor. Beyond product and financing solutions, both banks will also support clients through client referrals, advisory services and broader access to financing opportunities, including potential syndicated loan collaborations across global primary and secondary markets.
