The #PEP4FISH project has recently completed the final demonstration trial under commercial farming conditions, thus contributing to the validation of innovative solutions for a more sustainable #aquaculture. 🐟 Within the project, the novel protein hydrolysates developed by ETSA Group were incorporated into diets for European #seabass and gilthead #seabream, manufactured by SORGAL (SOJA DE PORTUGAL). The feeds were evaluated under commercial farming conditions at Seaculture, while CIIMAR monitored fish performance and welfare throughout the trial. The results are highly encouraging, as the excellent fish performance observed confirms the potential of these novel ingredients as alternatives for sustainable aquaculture production.
