🎓🌊 This week, CIIMAR celebrated the end of the 12th edition of the Blue Young Talent (BYT) programme and the 6th edition of BYTplus! During the closing session, twelve students presented the results of the research projects they developed over the past year, showcasing work in marine biotechnology, sustainable aquaculture, ecology, environmental health, climate change adaptation and the search for new antibiotics. The event also welcomed the new students and supervisors who will join the 2026/2027 edition. 🤩 Since its launch in 2014, Blue Young Talent has involved more than 200 students and awarded 141 research grants, providing early-career researchers with hands-on experience in multidisciplinary and international research environments while strengthening connections between academia, industry and society.
