The CIF Health and Safety Calendar 2026 focus for July is Traffic Management. Incidents with machinery/vehicles were amongst the leading causes of workplace fatalities in 2025, alongside being hit by falling objects and falls from height. CIF Executive, Safety, Health & Skills  John Egan talks to Philip O' Donnell of Jons Civil Engineering Company Ltd who outlines the strategic planning considerations and due diligence required in advance of commencement and throughout the works.
