This summer, four Chicago-area educators took their teaching to new heights through Northwestern's CIERA Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) program supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF). Immersed in hands-on astrophysics research alongside scientists, they explored cosmology, exoplanets, and data science, transforming their experiences into dynamic, inquiry-based lessons for the classroom.
