Can AI create missing models? Models are an essential part of #EDA flows, each capturing necessary detail while retaining good execution performance. Models have been expensive to create, maintain and verify, restricting their utilization. But #AI may be able to significantly reduce their cost. Should AI be used to create models that help existing flows, or should AI be used to fundamentally replace them? These were just some of the questions Brian Bailey asked contributors from across the ecosystem. Sathishkumar Balasubramanian: "The industry is going toward incorporating their own domain-specific knowledge, so that it is much more robust in terms of giving answers. We are seeing it in very specific areas, very domain-specific areas. For example, the back end is behind closed doors. People don't share the data.
