Preserving a piece of old London. Right in the heart of Soho. In 2019, we acquired the wholesale business of Fratelli Camisa. It was an opportunity to preserve a piece of London’s culinary heritage. In 1929, Fratelli Camisa opened their doors on Old Compton Street. One of London’s first Italian delis - pioneers in bringing Italian products to the UK. Their shelves were packed with olives, cheeses, and charcuterie. Many sourced from small producers back home. During the war, the family lost the shop and had to start over. They rebuilt with the same passion, opening again on Berwick Street - right in the heart of what was known as Little Italy. As their reputation grew, they expanded, supplying Sainsbury’s and hundreds of specialist shops nationwide. All from the same warehouse we now call home. Their story is now part of ours. And every delivery we make carries that history forward.
