Chris Van Roey to leave PitchPoint at the end of March 2026: a new chapter for the agency and its co-founder After a career of more than 45 years in marketing and communications – including the past eighteen years as co-founder and driving force behind PitchPoint – Chris Van Roey has decided to hand over the reins on April 1, 2026. PitchPoint was founded in 2008 by Chris Van Roey and Martine Ballegeer with a clear mission: to strengthen relationships between advertisers and their communication agencies. What started as a pioneering initiative in the Belgian market has grown into a leading reference in pitch consultancy and agency relations. With its proprietary methodology and strong focus on transparency, strategy, and sustainable collaboration, the team today supports a wide range of brands – from leading international names to strong local players – in their search for the right communication partner. “PitchPoint is running at full speed and is stronger than ever,” says Chris Van Roey. “That’s exactly why this is the right moment to pass on the baton. My departure is not an endpoint, but an opportunity: for PitchPoint, for our clients, and for new talent.” Together with colleagues Martine Ballegeer, Anja De Landsheer, and Mia Venken, PitchPoint is looking ahead. The company aims to further strengthen its position and is therefore seeking one or more new team members with experience in marketing, communications, and/or the agency world. “We believe in complementary profiles: strategically strong, relationship-driven, and passionate about the sector.” Chris will remain active in his current role until March 30, 2026, after which he will step back from operational leadership. In the meantime, he will ensure a careful handover. His departure is taking place in close consultation and with a strong focus on continuity, both internally and towards clients.
