CRO | EVP Operations @ Mister Spex
Today, at Mister Spex, we announced an important milestone in our transformation journey: we will transition our logistics and production operations to specialized external partners and close our Berlin-Spandau site by the end of 2026. Decisions like this are never easy. In fact, this was one of the hardest decisions we have had to make because it affects people who have contributed with dedication, expertise, and passion to building Mister Spex over many years. I would therefore like to express my sincere gratitude to all colleagues at our Wohlrabedamm site. At the same time, we firmly believe this is an essential step in strengthening Mister Spex for the future. By partnering with highly specialized logistics and production providers, we will increase scalability, flexibility, and operational efficiency - creating a stronger, asset-light operating model as the foundation for sustainable, profitable growth. Transformations of this magnitude are never the result of individual efforts. My sincere thanks go to everyone across Operations, HR, Legal, IT/Tech, and Communications who contributed so much throughout this journey. Tim Gerlach, Jan Lukas Hahn, John Kasang, Dr. Thomas Görgemanns, Sascha Grohmann, Ulrich Tietze, Zeljko Hajdinjak, Elina Schneiders … and many others. Change is rarely easy, but leading it with transparency, respect, and a clear long-term vision is what truly matters.
