I am incredibly honoured to share that I have officially graduated 2nd in my class from the MSc in Marine Science and Technology Management - ΔΠΜΣ Διοίκηση στη Ναυτική Επιστήμη και Τεχνολογία offered by Πανεπιστήμιο Πειραιώς and Hellenic Naval Academy (HNA). This Master’s degree not only provided me with valuable academic knowledge that enhanced my professional career, but also offered the opportunity to engage with well-established professionals. Through our studies, we also gained practical expertise by actively participating in multiple projects, seminars, educational trips and even a six day voyage with an ocean-going containership managed by Danaos Shipping Co. Ltd. For all the above- and so much more- I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all my professors and especially to Dr. Ioannis Theotokas, former Program Director and my thesis advisor, Dr. Ioannis Lagoudis, current Program Director, and Dr. George Galanis, Dean of the Hellenic Naval Academy, for their guidance ever since my undergraduate studies. Their mentorship has played a vital role in my academic and professional journey. Lastly, this achievement would not have been possible without the support of Mr. GEORGE ALEXANDRATOS and his family, who awarded me a scholarship under the auspices of Hellenic Shortsea Shipowners Association- EENMA, a gesture for which I will always be grateful!
